Crochet Workshop

Hi everyone, and welcome to our Beginner Crochet Workshop at So Keturah Crochets

This is a one-off workshop, perfect if you’ve never picked up a crochet hook before or if you want to refresh your skills in a relaxed, friendly setting.

We’ll start with the basics—how to hold your yarn and hook, create a foundation chain, and work the key beginner stitches.

You’ll have time to practise your tension and build confidence, and by the end of the session, you’ll have made your own handmade coaster to take home.

We’ll also introduce the classic Granny Square, a versatile technique you can use for blankets, bags, and more.

By the end, you’ll have a strong foundation and the confidence to keep going on your own. Light refreshments will also be available during each class to keep you comfortable as you learn.
